Silent Auction

AMBC Silent Auction presented by – EVIL BIKES

IS LIVE and will run through 8:30pm on November 4th!!!

As you know, the 14th annual AMBC Fall Festival is just around the corner, and we are currently seeking donations for our silent auction. This event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your support for the expansive multi-use trail network, build staffing capacity, and provide our fantastic volunteers with training and tools to continue building great trails close to home.

The festival will be hosted in Knoxville, November 3rd – 5th, at Baker Creek, and we expect around 3000 trail users from across the country. Your donation will help us to raise vital funds to support our mission, and all proceeds will go directly to our cause.

Some highlights from last year include:

  • 11 new trails at 4 parks
  • New equipment: mini excavator, tracked dumper, and a truck to tow it all!
  • Over 11,880 Cubic feet of invasives cleared
  • 220 AMBC Joy Ride participants
  • 723 Members
  • AYC took the state championship

The AMBC Joy Program is designed to inspire and enable female cyclists with regular, structured, fun, and social rides that appeal to all levels of riders. The program allows female riders to enjoy challenge and camaraderie in a non-intimidating environment. Registration is required and FREE!

AMBC Social Rides with support from AYC (Appalachian Youth Cycling) Knoxville Outdoor Tours and Pedal for Alzheimer’s

Join us on a no-drop ride throughout Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness, Put away the maps, because guides from AMBC, AYC, Knoxville Outdoor Tours, and Pedal for Alzheimer’s will be onsite to ride!!! With more than 40 miles to choose from, finding the perfect ride isn’t always easy. Sign Up for these social rides and get ready for some FALL FEST FUN!


Self Guided Rides

We have some great rides curated for those who are looking to ride at your own pace. One of our super volunteers (Vinnie Connors) has set up 4 rides in trailforks that are great options for the day! They can be downloaded to a GPS device for turn by turn navigation, or swing by the Welcome booth to get a physical map.

Devils Racetrack Shuttles

With support from Knoxville Outdoor Tours we’ll offer shuttles Saturday 11/4 from 10am – 2:30pm and again on Sunday 11/5 from 9:30 – 12. Stop by the shuttle information tent at the base of Devils Racetrack to get a wristband, suggested donation is only $10.


Women’s Power Hour brought to you by Blue Sky MTB & AMBC Joy ride!

SO FUN – Jump Jam on the paved jump line with support from Blue Sky MTB, no registration required!

CHECKPOINT RIDE – Fill your Passport with stamps!

The AMBC Checkpoint Ride! Explore the trails new and old, the more checkpoints you visit the more chances you have to win great prizes. Pickup your passport at the festival or in store at REI Knoxville at  6700 Papermill Drive Knoxville, TN 37919

Ride begins November 3 and participants have until November 27 to complete the event. Awards will be given out during the AMBC Meeting November 27 at 7pm!

Best Line Invitational

Presented by Visit Knoxville with support from Harpers Bike Shop
IT’S BACK – This invitational event will be hosted under the lights at the pumptrack with LIVE music and commentary. Pro riders from across the country will pick their best line on the pump track to take home the cash purse! Have you gotten your invitation in the mail? We haven’t either… but we’ll be there no doubt!!!

To wind down the evening we suggest a couple more beers, a blanket or chairs on the lawn, and what movie is complete without snacks! We’d like to thank Central Cinema for its equipment and technical support!

SUNDAY November 5:

*Campground notes:
We utilize School parking and some park space for onsite camping. No services are provided with the exception of portable toilets and hand wash stations. Fires are not allowed and everyone should plan to clean up after themselves. No reservations will be taken nor any fees be charged. We are in an urban area and for that reason, we ask you to limit the noise at your camp. For more formal camping please consider other options or spring for a hotel downtown, it’s just an uber away!

The Appalachian Mountain Bike Club is a chapter of the Southeast regional division of IMBA. We are committed to complementing the goals and purpose of IMBA. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable trail access for off-road bicyclists and to maintaining the trails on which mountain bikers ride and other user groups rely on. The Appalachian Mountain Bike Club supports the conservation of open spaces and is committed to educating mountain bicyclists to ride sensitively and responsibly in order to protect the natural environment and the experience of other trail users.
