Whip Off

Big jumps. Big whips. One of the best crowds at Fall Fest.

The AMBC Fall Fest Whip Off is back Saturday, November 7th, presented by our friends at WildSide. Head over to the bottom of Devil’s Racetrack and watch riders session some of the biggest jumps in Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness, throwing their best whips, flips, and tricks for a packed-in Fall Fest crowd. Whether you’re competing or just there to watch, the Whip Off is one of those Fall Fest events you don’t want to miss.

We’ll see you at Devil’s Racetrack.

Want to compete?

The Whip Off is open to anyone ready to send it — with categories for men, women, and groms. Riders can sign up anytime before 2:30 PM on Saturday at the booth at the base of Devil’s Racetrack. All competitors must complete a waiver before riding.

Then, at 3 PM, it’s go time. We’ll award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all categories.

Not competing? Find a spot along the bottom of Devil’s Racetrack, bring some friends, and get loud.

Go for a ride at WildSide

Located just down the road in Pigeon Forge, WildSide is built for riders who like a little gravity with their mountain biking. The park features 20 trails and more than 11 miles of riding, from approachable green trails to advanced downhill terrain, along with a Jump Park featuring three progressive jump lines.

For riders who watch the Whip Off and immediately start thinking about getting a little more air themselves, WildSide is a pretty good place to start. Their jump lines progress from the beginner-friendly Baby Bear to Mama Bear and the double-black Papa Bear, while trails like Whip-Or-Will and Dolly’s Curves bring plenty of jumps, berms, speed, and opportunities to get both wheels off the ground.

Big thanks to WildSide for supporting Fall Fest and helping us make the Whip Off happen.
