About AMBC

The Appalachian Mountain Bike Club (AMBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building, maintaining, and advocating for natural surface trails in and around Knoxville, Tennessee. Since 2007, we’ve created over 100 miles of trail and built a vibrant community of riders, runners, hikers, and volunteers. Our mission goes beyond trail building – we’re here to connect people to nature, to each other, and to the power of outdoor recreation.

We are a chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), who empowers over 45 chapters in eight states to create and sustain access to exceptional trails that strengthen communities and connect people across the Southeast.
